TM 4100 Record Output MOD PLEASE!!

Dear Mr. Egnater,

Some day when you have time, it would be wonderful if you could/would design a modification to the speaker simulated recording output on the TM 4100. As it currently is implemented, as an unbalanced output, is it virtually unusable due to the high level of noise to signal.

I understand that I can add a DI box to this line, however that is just another piece of gear I would need to haul around. I, and I bet many other owners, would much prefer to have a balanced out allowing us to go direct to board so we can blend that output with our mic'ed cabs.

I do agree that output would have been more useful if it were balanced. Unfortunately, it is not very practical to modify the circuit for that. I agree a direct box is a bit of a nuisance but it certainly is worth the bother if it enhances you tone, right?
