TM4100 New Power Tubes?

How do you know when you should replace power tubes? I am getting a non-linear response when changing channel volumes. When/if I change the volume of any of the 4 channels I dont get much of a difference until I get to almost half way open, going from rather quiet to who let the beast out. Master volume is set and I rarely change it.

I have recently replaced all the preamp tubes and have a set of power tubes. Bought these from Eganter directly.

that could be power tubes, but i would change em atleast every 6 months if u use it alot...like changing oil on a car..my sound stays consitent that way
