Jerry P from FJA mods did this one for me , its a single channel 60 watt el34 based ce distribution amp kit wired into a monster...

push pull bass boost, insert fx loop , mean as hell! nice and portable but killer tone...

that is awesome tone.....Keeping in mind where this amp started life,
and what it was in the beginning.... Jerry does amazing work.
You should give C.E. distribution a ring and let them hear this clip.

The rhythm tone on that clip sounds as sweet, brutal, and chock-full of metal goodness as most any $3K+ amp heard around these parts. Just ripping beautiful!

Love to hear a clip with some lead solo work on it!

glad you guys dig it...

I learned a lot from this build as i originally put this whole thing together, the first thing being that its all about the layout of the amp. Where you physically put the components is REALLLLLLLY important, it's crucial for noise, and to avoid phase cancelation and oscillation.

Didn't matter what transformers (merc / heyboer / ect) or what caps were used, don't buy into all that BS it's all in the circuit and layout, the proof is right here!

That's quite interesting. Definitely something to keep in mind for future amp purchases/mods.

OMFG!that sounds killer man...Jerry makes the brutalz once more

Im making another one soon... here is another toaster I built, this was a different one from the one in the above clip, this one was tighter and heavier sounding :D pretty much a hybrid of a ccv and aldrich mod together

CCV tone stack, power section and phase inverter setup and way more filtering, with an aldrich mod 4 gain stage preamp setup. This one had a switchable mercury choke in it and a different output transformer to, and super high plate voltage :D
