Sure, there are a lot of amp collectors and flippers on here. Instead of focusing on the amp and cab setup, what about the little pieces that help get your rig over the top? I run a stereo rig, and recently got a TC Electronics Mimiq Mini pedal to give me some stereo separation, and man is it a game changer. I liked the blend of the two amps already (Mesa Mark V and a Verellen Skyhammer) but it sounds bigger with that little tool in th chain. What little tool changed your setup? A signal buffer on your board? A boost pedal up front? An EQ in the loop? Maybe a wireless to help you move around on stage? What was your best, or recent tool purchase?

I run dual single recs at practice, and the mimiq is awesome! Boost-stereo chorus-mimiq to both heads. Killer tool.

Lehle volume 90 pedal. It has a slight boost if you want it, but regardless the minimum set to crunch and the volume knob on guitar a little rolled back for clean gives you multiple options on the fly, almost turning a single channel into a three channel amp by manipulating the two. Game changer

Nothing fancy but the JHS $99 chorus pedal next to a buxom boost can really help fatten the tone

EQ in front of my amp to give me different tone; I use the Source Audio EQ2 which has presets so I can have a few variations.

I ordered the new Ibanez Pentatone 5-band parametric eq which is finally in stock, I got the shipping notification yesterday.

these days I usually go direct into my tube amps and don't use any effects; if I want effects, I use my computer guitar rig or my JP-2C with HX-Effects in 4CM.

This is actually where I’m starting to gravitate towards. Get the raw tube amp tone into the DAW, then recab it with IRs, add just about anything in post in the DAW.
