I want to share how to closely get Yngwie Malmsteen's signature tone using Torpedo CAB.
Signal routing: Guitar w/ single coil Dimarzio HS3 or Symour Duncan YJM Fury >> BOSS NS-2 (treshold at 11/12, dacay at 9/10) >> In BOSS NS-2 Loop (Send n Return
DOD250 or DOD308 or Fender Yngwie OD Pedal (level n gain 100%). From BOSS NS-2 output >> Xotic SL drive (Superbass mode, high/mid cut, drive 100%, tone 50%) >> Torpedo CAB (power amp section: on, PP EL34, Pentode, volume: 10db, presence: 75%, depth: 63%. Speaker cab: Brit 60A, mic: Dyn 57, distance: 2%, center: 90-92%, EQ: off, reverb: on, studio A 40%-50%) >> any full range speaker/PA (flat EQ setting).
