Torpedo Live = tubes red plating?

Hi Everybody

I have a question to the owners of the Torpedo Live who connect their amps to a speaker input. Have you noticed any red plating on the output tubes?

Could you please check if your tubes are not red plating?

Alex, do you notice a difference on the tubes when you run your amp on a cabinet or on the Torpedo Live at the same level?
 
I just got back my amp from Dave Friedman and he said it ran without red plating for hours. I connected it to Torpedo Live and it immediately started red plating. It red plates even on master volume at 0.

Alex, with the master at Zero, the Live has no influence on the amp.

I understand you are already talking with Bruno on our Help Desk, to me you should see the tubes with a cabinet just to see a difference, not another person. Or have Friedman test the amp with the Torpedo Live. Because you may simply not talk about the same thing. :confused: Anyway to avoid writing twice everything, I suggest you stick with the Help Desk to get the best support.
