Hi to all,
I've got a problem pairing a loadbox output of Reload with my Presonus Audiobox USB. Both of inputs on Presonus receive too hot signal from loadbox output Reload. Even gain at minimun (-30dB) on line input I've got clipping signal when strumming at moderate level. When I pick hard it is always in the "red zone".
Is that a normal? Is there any way to avoid clipping?
I can't work with a clipped signal.

FYI chain used:
Guitar - Bogner XTC 101S - Torpedo Reload (8 Ohm)* - VHT 4x12 (8 Ohm)
*(Loadbox output connected to Line Input of Presonus with gain @ -30dB)

Sorry, the gain minimum marked -10, not -30. But anyway both of the inputs mic and instrument overloads with Reload output.

Mic input is 1200 Ohm, Instrument - 0,5 M Ohm.
Does it need a special cable?

Hello Barty, you would need a XLR to 1/4" jack cable, nothing special.

There is a -15dB pad on the Reload loadbox output that you should activate.

The level of the loadbox output is directly linked to your amp output volume, so if using the pad + the instrument input doesn't do the trick, I'm afraid the other options are to lower the amp volume and using a soundcard with line input or with a pad on the mic preamp input (that's very common).
