Torpedo Reload strange sound

Hi!

I've been using Torpedo Reload with WOSIII for a couple of years and I have two strange things going on that's really annoying. When I use low gain on my amps using Reload into WOSIII I can hear the "dry and unprocessed sound" in the back. This ain't an issue using higher gain, but maybe it just can't be heard when using the higher gain settings. The other problem I have is when using 3rd party IR's and trying to change IR. If I already have loaded a Ownhammer IR and want to change it to another IR, it won't change unless I scroll the IR's using the arrows first in WOSIII. If I get into the menu and chooses an IR before scrolling at least one time first, the IR won't change.

One question that Is more of an request is that I like to categorize my IR after the amp/speakers I use in different folders in the preset folder. But then I can't open the folders where my IR's lays. So I need to make copies and put in the main preset folder. Is there any chance of making it possible to open sub-folders when choosing preset?

If you are talking about an acoustic sound coming from the Reload itself (not its outputs), it's normal, it's due to the reactive parts of the loadbox : http://support.two-notes.com/knowledgeb ... article=96

Could you send a bug report regarding the IR switching thing here ? http://support.two-notes.com/index.php?a=add

I don't understand your last question. The last version of the WoS III allows to open sub-folders in both the presets and IRs folders. And both can be set independantly, through the Menu button.

I don't mean the acoustic sound coming out from the Reload itself. I'm talking about the sound in the monitors and/or headphones using a DAW and WOSIII. I can hear 2 signals. One extremly bright and annoying in the background and then the ordinary thick overdrive from the amp.
I will try again choosing sub-folders. Maybe I've done something wrong.

So maybe you still have some input monitoring active on your interface? (direct input monitoring? or some pre effects monitoring in your daw?)
Also in WOS III make sure, it's always set to 100% wet.
Sorry if that was obvious, just trying to help

I would first mute the WoS III and see if this mutes the parasitic sound. If no, then this sound comes from somewhere else, maybe some direct monitoring through the sound interface as Slash said, maybe some other kind of routing through the DAW.

If yes, then check if the Dry/Wet setting in the WoS is set to 100%. Check this on all the channels activated into the WoS (in the lower part of the window).
