Hi all, after my exicted purchase today of a brand new Tourmaster 4100 & 4x12 cab and drooling over the delicatable tones for about 10-15 mins, I changed the Input from the High to the Low and back to high. On doing so I heard a pssssst/pop noise; I assumed a valve went, but upon inspection no vavles looked blackened, all Pre & power valves were glowing, nothing looked unusual but on all channels minimum output and farting lots......dissapointed plus.....ANYONE WITH ANY IDEA to get me back up again????

Still likely a tube. They can still "appear" to be fine but are not. Good luck man.

probably a tube.

They can still look fine, glowing and all, and be blown.

good luck!

It's a tube. Sounds awful when it happens, but not actually that serious. Eganter will replace faulty tubes under warranty.

As everyone has said, most likely a tube. I had a KT88 go and it looked exactly the same as the one that was still good.

HI ALL and thanks for all the responses. Just to let you know egnater did not swap the tubes, they swapped the AMP!!! - Can't very well complain about that.....back to those dream tones.....Hmmm MMM mmmmmm M! ;-)

They are a small company- and will go to the ends of the Earth for their customers!

You should get yourself a spare set of tubes anyway. Ya never know with those funny little beasts!

;) :D
