Tourmaster 4212 mod info

Hey guys,
I've been waiting forever for Egnater to get back to me with the mod info. Does anyone have it that can send it to me? I need to tighten the lowend up a bit, it is very midbassy and muddy. Thanks guys.
 
Just curious: how old is your Tourmaster?
Does it have the 'M' in the serial number?
 
Mine does not have the M in the serial, but the mod was already performed. It might have been done while it was in the shop for repair.
 
so have you figured out what your angle will be for tightening up the bass??

my suggestion: try a JJ12ax7 83s in v5.
 
just curious, is it muddy all around, or just on one channel?

what are your channel settings and resonance settings?

what are your power grid settings?

what power tubes are in your amp? are they known good?

a TON of magic lies in dialing these amps in the right way, but it takes some time and experience.
 
Turns out it was a bad pre tube. v2 was making the two overdrive channels sound like shit. Sounds great now.
