Price check - What would be considered a "great deal" on a used, but "like new" condition Tourmaster head and matching 4x12 cabinet?

depends on the head itself.

is it one with an "M" before the serial #? if not, and hasn't been post factory modded to "M" specs, you may run into headaches as general consensus is somewhere in that run of pre M mod amps there were some faulty power transformers.

mine had one...i played it for nearly a year (got it used) and one day it just wouldn't turn on.

if it's an "M" mod..id say...a GREAT deal on head and matching cab....about 600. a good deal...anything between 7-900

good luck and do your homework on it if it's not a visible m mod, and theres no paperwork from egnater to show it was modded to M after stock

700 = Excellent deal

900 = good value for the $$$

1000 = its worth it !

From what i've seen of Egnaters service, I would have no problem buying any Tourmaster, they stood up and treated me better than any other Company I have ever dealt with !

Less than three weeks total including shipping time to do a full service, give me a break ! Thats service !!!!!

Keep in mind they sold thousands of these amps, very small % of complaints on even the early ones from what I have found, most people flat out love them !

for sure, regardless of what you get, if you buy egnater you are by all means, buying customer service if the time should come. that's why i'll get another one of their products, and would recommend to anyone.

i'm basing my "deal" ideals on resale values of course. value to me? around what you posted BB.
