Just got home from trading my Caparison TAT against a Suhr Pro S3 3-tone burst. This guitar SMOKES! I prefer bolt-on over neck through, it feels so much smoother! I'm definitely done with neck throughs. I also feel I'm done with other guitars than Suhrs!

Single coils sound very good, but not completely happy with the SSH+. Seeing as it's basswood, would an Aldrich bridge pickup be in it's place? I'm thinking either one of those, or some sort of a Bareknuckle perhaps.

I've just removed the strings, going to clean the fretboard, and put on a new set of .010-.052's!

I'd put a black pickguard on it!

Yeah, I've actually been thinking about changing the pickguard... I also want a zebra pickup in the bridge.

I spoke to tim from bareknuckle about what to put in my S3 he recommened Miracle man, thats if you want a hotter pickup.

I def want a hotter pickup. Had a Miracle Man in my Horus a while ago, great pickup! Hmm, that and a pearloid pickguard wouldn't exactly hurt. And maybe som black hardware?

What guitar did you have the miracle man in, And how did you like them?
I have cold sweats in my les paul and i love them! But coming from the clips i hear with the MM im scarred there not right for me, Then again pickups are more of a feel thing for me.

I would go all black

I had it in the bridge of a Caparison Horus! It was a very nice pickup, but I can't really comment on how they compare to other BKP's... Can't remember exactly how it sounded, but you get the sound you pay for. I haven't had the opportunity to test other BKP models, either.

I'm leaning against white or black pearloid, zebra or chrome humbucker, and put black trem/tuners on her, and black dome knobs. Damn this is one fine guitar. I've been feeling some major GAS for a Modern lately!

I feel yea im going to be getting a Custom standard soon.
