UPDATE: Finally worked out a local(ish) trade.
Longshot I know, but I'm trying to stay relatively local to the North GA area (i.e. within some kind of mutual driving distance) and work out a trade. Primarily looking for stuff like Dual Rectos and US made Peavey 5150s (preferably the OG or 2x12 combo versions).
I wouldn't be surprised if someone on here in the area has seen that I have this listed on CL or FB for an admittedly high price, that is primarily to stop people from making silly offers (I'm getting them anyway) and because I'm not that motivated to sell. If I was to put a price on what it was worth to me as a sale right now to an RT fellow I'd probably say $1400. I think I'd have a hard time finding another.
I enjoy this amp a lot and would be happy to keep it, but I need another flavor of modern high gain more. My (Chinese) 6505 recently shit the bed and is a total loss, so I'm down a pretty important tonal option and am wary of the untested reliability of the new versions just released.
IIRC from when I had the chassis out to bias the new set of tubes last year, I think it's a 2007. Stock, no loop added. It's in excellent condition and has just been sitting here in my home studio. Currently has a set of EHX KT88's in it that have been used very little. Preamp has a Tung-Sol RI in V1 and Chinese in the other positions.
