Trivium sounded way better last night Live. They do dial in their kempers really well. Arch Enemy was on after and depending where you stood, sounded different. Couldn’t hear loomis in some spots, seems weird but one guy using a Kemper, other using tube is a hard thing to mix, but when the whole band uses Kemper sounds more even. Just saying Amott sometimes buried loomis through the mix.

He announced a couple weeks ago on his Instagram that he would be using the Line 6 Helix with Seymour Duncan power amps for the entirety of the Arch Enemy tour, posted a picture of him with his guitar in front of his Helix Rack. Current interviews he's talking up the Helix quite a bit, still speaks fondly of the Kemper though.

I believe one of the dudes in Trivium does all their patches / sounds and has it all set up super consistent too.

It's good to hear that Trivium got their Kemper tones figured out. I saw them play with Tremonti a couple years ago and felt Tremonti's Mesa/5153 mix sounded tons better than Trivium's Kemper mix. And I am a former Kemper user/fan of 4+ years and was there to see Trivium not Tremonti lol.
