Tube combination for fast attack in Herbert

Hey guys
What's the best combination of power tubes (even preamp tubes) for fastest attack while keeping low growl for a Herbert?

Also power tube distortion rating as well.

I would go with 12AX7-C Shuguang preamp tubes and
SED 6550 power tubes. You have to screw out the
tube clambs and get some tube spring holders.
