Tube Fault VH4

Hello!

I have a some questions regarding my VH4 amplifier. Looking into the amp while its turned on, one of the power tubes doesn´t seem to be working. I come to this opinion because the tube´s heating coil does´t glow (the other tubes do, and one can see this very clear). Confusingly the Tube-Fault lamp is not lit.

So here are my questions:

1) Do you think the tube ist broken?

2) If it is, would you recommend changing all 4 power tubes or just 2 (The amp is about 9 months old) ?

3) Which tubes should I use?

Hi Thorsten !

The tube fault cannot indicate all kind of bad tubes.
It seems that the heater is broken on one tube.
If You have the money, please replace the whole set.
I´m into the EL34B-STR.
Don´t forget to adjust the bias.
