Hey everyone,
I picked up an Einstein yesterday, my first Diezel!! I'm not too sure of the history of the tubes in it, but I want to change them eitherway so I have a fresh start with the amp.
My band plays hard rock/borderline metal, kind of stone sour, alter bridge, alice in chains type of style. I still have a Splawn Nitro and I was using a mesa triple rec for a while. The splawn has KT88s and the other guitarist uses a dual rec with 6L6s.
I'm using a Bogner Uber Kab and I have a splawn 4x12 too with V30s.
I'm thinking of 6L6s for the Einstein, or EL34s, or perhaps 2 of each.....
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?
