This caught my attention, appears to be both a mod for the Einstein to make channel one switchable and a pedal that allows you to switch to all of them. Anyone have any experience? I have been thinking about doing this mod and this seems a viable option.

i had this mod carried out on my einstein by tubelit last week.
he actually does a "master roadie" pedal too (which is the one i went for ), which switches between the 3 modes , both channels and the master volumes - this isnt shown on his website though .
unfortunately , i have no idea how it works because i'm STILL waiting for the cab to be built ( 5 months so far ) , and i asked diezel to ship the whole rig to me complete - so no cab means no head either !!

A few questions. Where do you live? I'm in the states and I assume that will affect things a little, like price, time w/out amp etc.

peter stapfer sent my brand new head to tubelit for me straight off of the production line .
tubelit will sell you the parts and instructions though - you'd just need a good tech to carry out the work .
email him - he's a helpful guy .

The tubelit einstein roadie works very well: 4 switches one for each "sound" 3 modes of channel 1 and channel 2.
The only problem that I had with the roadie is that the box with the 4 switches is too small, so I have made a
new box myself that is much bigger and put the switches in there (I had solder a few longer wires inside this new
box because the distances are larger, but that takes only 30 minutes of work or so).

well my rig has arrived along with the tubelit master roadie , and i'm finding the roadie indispensible .
it works really well and its fantastic to be able to switch between the modes .
its perfect for me - i'm finding at high volumes i can set the gain on channel 1 at around 2 o'clock and switch between modes 2 & 3 for some incredible rythm and lead sounds .
the volume between the modes is well matched at this gain setting also .
very pleased with it , and so glad i ordered it - its a high quality mod and pedal and i'd reccomend it to anyone buying an einstein .
:D
