Hi, I am new to Egnater and to rig-talk. I recently purchased a Tweaker 15 combo. I am loving it, lots of fun experimenting and getting new tones.

I recently opened up the back to see what is involved in swapping tubes since the tubes are on the back side of the chassis. Looks a little more challenging than swapping out the tubes on other combos I have used where the tubes are right in front of you. I reached under the chassis, and I can get my hands on the tube covers, but I can't see what I am doing when I grab them. I am wondering if I am missing something obvious, or if maybe the best thing to do is to remove the chassis to get good access to the tubes.

Anyone have any suggestions about the easiest/best way to replace tubes in this amp?

Thanks,
Jack

Turn the amp upside down & use a flashlight. My tweeker 40,6l6 output tubes requires chassis removal. The whole thing is no biggie. Even a beginner can pull it off in a half hour. No degree required. Be sure to disconnect speaker leads. Remove top screws first, turn upside down remove side screws. Gently pull out. Good luck..
