Ive got an October 2010 Tweaker that keeps blowing the 1 amp fuse when turned on, and its definately not the valves at fault.
Has anyone else had this happen and what was the outcome?. Mine is out of warrantee as Im in the Uk so we only get a years worth!.

This amp has been treated like a first born child since the day I bought it, never left my lounge, always turned on and off via the stanby, never had the volume past 11 o/c.

Not been at all impressed by my contact with customer support, and even less impressed with GuitarGuitar where I bought it.

Any input and help from you guys would be appreciated

Have you checked/replaced the power tubes?? A bad one will cause the fuse to go.

Yes, its not the tubes, wish it was!, be an easy fix :)
thanks for your input

Im really very suprised at how dificult it is proving to get the schematics for the Tweaker in order for my amp technician freind to help me sort this out.

Try pulling all of the tubes out and powering it up.

Yeah, done that, still blows the 1 amp fuse. Everything Ive been told/read points to a faulty transformer.

Anyone else had a power transformer go down on their Tweaker??

Does anyone in the Egnater camp have any input to add on this?

The Power Transformer (PT) in my Tweaker 15 failed after almost 2 years.

I contacted Egnater got a RMA dropped it off at a service depot.

I have been waiting almost 2 months as the service depot is still waiting for Egnater to ship out the replacement PT

The service place has 3 other Tweakers besides mine waiting for the same part.

These PT apparently have a bad design or poor quality control in the manufacturing.

Too bad these Tweakers aren't reliable as the tone is awesome.
