Tweaker 40 ?

Now that the T40s been out for a while has there been any problems? Hows the head room on the clean? If i was to get a boss fender 65 reverb would i get the blackface clean? Any other concerns? Does it have any noise to it or is it quiet? thanks for any Help.

It'll do Fender BF clean without a pedal. You might want a slight lift, like a Tube Screamer or a clean boost. I suppose that pedal would sound fine. Head is good. Not great, not bad. It breaks up a fair ammount.

I'm rocking the 1x12 combo. I SOLD MY MOD50 AND REPLACED IT WITH THE 40. I love this amp for the Marshall Tones. I have one channel set up for my 70's/80's tone with enough dirt on the Hot Channel to not get too mushy. Then the Second Channel is set to clean, but pushed with the mids cut. Very JTM, but kinda Dumbley? My Overdrive setup works great with both channels so Its like have 4 or 6 channel depending if I stack the boost's. The Fender Tones are Black Face, no super high headroom clean's here. IT will have a little dirt around the edges. Put some good tubes in it, I ended up on my first tube change going to EL34's and I am stoked that this amp was under a 1k and i'm tickled pink.
