The Tweaker is on GC's website! 649.00 for the head and cab.

:D   :2thumbsup: :worship: :inlove:  :cheers2: :boxer: :hys: :rawk: \:D/ :worship:  :salute:

That is awesome!

Question: Is Egnater changing to black cabs and tan jute?

It looks great but I wonder why they would build the Rebel 1X12 cab in this color unless all future Rebel 1X12
cabs are gonna be like this.

Edit: Bruce says on the NAMM video that these cabs use a G12-H30, the Guitar Center info says
Elite 80....I suspect the Guitar Center Website is incorrect.

Yeah, I doubt that what is up there is all that solid- But I don't know; They made cahnges to the Renegade right before it was released. The website also says tha it won't really be available for about two weeks or so. Still, if they are listing it, they must be confident.

They wanted it to stand out next to the Rebel. I think that was a bad move...as all Egnater stuff is black / tan minus the Armageddon... I think it looks too much like a bogner...and well the armageddon looks too much like a soldano!! :) But...oh well. I'm not in their marketing dptmt helping with brand management...so wtf do i know! :)

We didn't want the Tweaker to be mistaken for the Rebel 20 because it is a different amp. It is interesting to note how many comments we get from people who really don't like the two tone Egnater look. It does not appeal so much to younger players. The Armageddon and Vengeance certainly should not look vintage so we chose a totally different look for those.

I know Bruce, I've noticed that as well. I personally love the two tone look. Very unique!!

Can't wait to try the Tweaker!! Eric said it sounded amazing.

The younger players need to learn that the color of the amp doesn't make it sound different.

Keep up the good work Bruce!

I'm 25 and I love the 2 tone look...however all my friends who aren't musicians tell me it looks like its from the 60's...so take that for what its worth.

Bruce,
What is the 6V6 plate and screen voltage on the Tweaker?

love the 2 toned looked, very classy! does not look old to me.

I've been waiting for this one.
As soon as I saw shipments were coming in, I dusted off the plastic and ordered the head from GC last night.
Hopefully, I'll see it sometime next week :2thumbsup:

I think the Tweaker looks awesome! Should offer the other amps in that style.

Poop. GC just moved back the date to 3/12 from 3/5 ... bummer.

I agree, my VHT is dark green and looks a bit odd on the TM212....but sounds like heaven. I like being different. :D

The two tone is a vintage look for sure, but I really like it.

I wonder how this will sound next to the Renegade like... will it be totally different or can you cop the same sounds on the Renegade as you can with the Tweaker?

I DO like the switches and the write-up!

ARE YOU A TWEAKER?

Hidden inside the TWEAKER is a vast array of tones not usually found in amps this compact. Each of the five toggle switches on the front change the character of the amp. The TIGHT and BRIGHT switches shape the low and high end from soft and smooth to punchy and aggressive. The GAIN switch goes from sparkly clean to an all out high-gain assault. The EQ switch lets you select from pristine American to classic Brit and even the illusive VX AC sound. The CLASSIC/MODERN voicing switch allows you to select either soft and smooth or hard and edgy power tube tone. It’s all in there to satisfy the ultimate “Tweaker”.
