Sorry for the delayed response but these things take time to research and clarify. Of the many, many amps sold, there have only been a few issues with these things. Please email me at begnater@aol.com if you have problems with the Tweaker loop overloading certain pedals (Carbon Copy?). Also, a few of you have had reverb distortion/noise issues. Email me if you have a problem.

For the record, I just picked up a Tweaker and run it with a RP1000 in the 4CM and have had no issues with any overloading.

Also, I have read somewhere where you have mentioned being able to plug and play EL34's or 6L6's in it. Is this true? I just want to make sure that I don't destroy anything before I continue to "tweak". Also, it should be safe to drop a 5751 into V1 of these correct? It sounds great on it's own but I have had great results using this trick in the MTS series amps to reduce the preamp gain just a bit even though I tend to play 80's rock and other heavier rock (AIC).

Ther were only a few complaints about the loop with specific pedals. Yes you can plug the other tubes in.

Bruce when Im playing my Renegade head some times I hear a not discreet but noticeable drop in volume and gain what do you suspect..
Its still under warrantee should I send it in and just keep the pedal and the tubes???

My Tweaker seems to play nice with almost all in the loop except for the Carbon Copy. Just kind of muffled/dark tone. No biggie to me though, I'll just run it out front when I want it. I usually just plug straight in with some O/D pedals.

Edit: Just been running my new RP1000 in the loop with 4CM like Fek with great results. No problems at all. Seems like it's just the Carbon Copy for some reason.

I'm using a Holy Grail Plus reverb pedal in the Tweaker loop. No problems.

Bruce,

Since I started keeping my channel volumes lower, I haven't run into the issue with the reverb. Is this the solution? Or did you come up with another answer?

Thanks,

hbucker
