I got this Tweeker 40 of eBay a few days ago. Before I plugged in I decided to pull it out of the box and inspect it
Check the bias etc . Had a manufacturer date of 5/5/2011 both Transformers looked original , had been tappered with
Or replaced, mounting skrews not seated one augered out. Mismatched skrews on the circuit boards, Bias was set at 37mv
A jumper had been installed in effects circuit. So I set the bias to 65mv . Plugged in after approximately 15 min sound drop
Out bummer. Switch to standby then on ,sound returned . I noticed one power tube running hotter than the other. I'm new to
Tube amps, is it just a bad tube ? The seller stated in the discription in perfect condition Right A little research shows it may
Need Transformers , Recap and tubes . That's close to 500 in parts alone . I would like the schematics ,could anyone direct me
To those. Or give me info ,help would be much appreciated . Joseph
