I have had a lot of success lately with clean amps and pedals for some of my musical ventures. However I also like the power of a high wattage amp, especially the Twin Jet and Herbert. I decided to go with the Twin Jet as my main gigging amp, and I will use it and it's gain for some or all of the heavy stuff.
I also am starting an 80s tribute band and want to use the Twin Jet on Channel 1 slight breakup with some good drive pedals to get some more tones that are JCM800ish running all pedals out front, no loop etc... So the gain will come from the pedals not the amp. Here are some I am thinking of that I think would work well, any other suggestions are welcome.
