I love the white but there more $$ right? For that price it would be cool to get a color choice n/c but it looks sweet..

I got mine used on eBay for $2250. Not sure what the price is new, but I think it's the same....

So what's the wait time on these? Has anyone tried one of the new front loaded cabs? They're 16 ohm right? Thanks for the beautiful pics btw. I'm GASing pretty hard for one of these. I haven't bought a new amp in over 7 years! The last one I bought was a first run metal face Uber, but I sold it 3 years ago.

Yeah, I'd love to hear about these new cabs! I really like the Uber with my Bogner 4x12 with G12Ms, but I'm thinking the level of aggression with the FL cabs will be much higher. Plus the different speakers would be neat to test out.

mmm that white would look so amazing with the metal grille. That's what I intend to do to my Rev Blue when I get it

Here's mine - though I now have a metal grill on it.

Nice! I thought you had to replace the whole head shell to put a metal grill on them? Is that not the case?

How strong is the power section of the Twin Jet compared with the Herbert?

That's what they want you to believe. ;) The only difference is in the way the wrap the tolex on the supports for the faceplates. Cloth faceplate models don't have tolex, metal ones do. So when you replace the grill you see wood (painted black) through the holes in the grill instead of tolex. This time I just used black duct tape. It has a similar texture/sheen as the tolex and you can't really tell the difference. One day I may glue some tolex on instead, but it really doesn't make a difference to me.

My herbert has six 6550s so it has more power, but the TJ holds it's own.

Crank that TJ up, I guarantee it'll keep up with any drummer

It's pretty cool for late night jamming, very transparent, even at less than -10db, but nothing beats the feel of the speakers moving some air

Aw shit - you just had to post these pics@! Now I am experiencing some GAS pains. Just sold my old Uber a few months back.
