Twin Jett w/2 uber cabs @ 4 ohms = poopoo?!?

Just like the title says... I love the TJ with 1 uber cab @ 8ohms it is just awesome!!! Well I added another to the mix at 4 ohms and I was very disappointed in the loss of beef it seemed to really thin it out! Any suggestion's.... my thought is to swap speakers to make them 2 16 ohm cabs and run them both at 8 ohms... Will this give me the same tone as running 1 @ 8 ohms. I just dont want to go through all the hassle and end up being disappointed again? Thoughts?

Just connect the two cabs in series and plug them into the 16 Ohm. Pretty sure it will sound great.

Things get stiff at 4ohms usually. Very unlively feeling.

There is only 1 input per cab. Is there a way to wire the 8 ohms speakers and get to 16 ohms.. I didnt think you could, I thought you needed 16 ohm speakers to get to 16 ohm. Correct me if im wrong.

Hook up both cabs and turn the impedence selector on the amp to 16 ohms. My buddy toured like that for years with two uberschalls and 4 uberkabs.

Sorry for the bad sound quality but it was loud.
