Two amps, one preamp pedal and shared effects-

I can’t get it to work with the amps being separate. I can only make it work slaving the pre into the 2nd amp. I have my ultra + and Windsor. I’m using my Thor’s hammer pre. I want the hammer to go to the Windsor and then have the ultra’s pre untouched. I want to share the effects between them. I can only make it work slaving and I have two hammers instead of the hammer right and ultra left. I will post pics but I’m sure I can’t do it. I want shared effects because it sounds awesome and running with a 10 band in the loops makes both amps sound insane. I’ll post a picture. Sorry for the rats nest…trying to figure shit out…lol…

I think you’d need stereo loops to pull it off, without the ability for it to be separated from the main audio path before it hits the Boss effects, which I’m assuming are stereo since the unit has stereo outs, it’s going to be stuck in front of everything.

I don’t know if you’re using any other effects after that Hammer pedal, but you could always go from the Out of the Boss, into Hammer, then into the Windsor, but obviously that puts the Hammer after any effects you might be using in the Boss and removes the ability to use it in a loop.

I might try that just to see how it sounds. I only use the boss unit's 10 band eq and noise suppressor. Hitting the pedal in the front and then going into the amp might work. Maybe. Who the fuck knows. I'm like rainman-if there's more than one amp I have to run them together....
