Hey guys Is anyone having problem with a isp deci Prorack g sucking the top end and some life from your tone of your vh4.. I took everything out of the loop last night and went raw dog it sounded alot better. THe tone was more high fi sounding. Alittle noisy which makes me belive its time for some tube changes. (ANyone know a diezel tech in NYC area?) But i couldnt belive it the whole band heard the difference.

Second Diezel columbus is it road worthy? Is it the kinda thing where if im singing and throw up all over the place will it hold together? ;-) Is it built tough..

Q1: Ditch the ISP. You won't need it with a VH4. The tones are too good to be gating. Just mute the amp between songs if it gets a little gain noise. Even when it is noisy, it is quiet compared to most.

Q2: The Columbus is built like everything else in Germany, including the women - tough as nails mate. Yes, it is road worthy. And, when you get the Columbus, you can mute the VH4 via MIDI and Q1 is solved and the ISP can be a door stop.

All of our products are way over built. No worries on Colombus as it will handle whatever is thrown its way.

+1 for Steve & Terry. I have had my Herbert for 5 years & its used HARD. Never an issue. Ditch the ISP...its like choking Robert Plant while he is trying to sing !

Thanks guys. Anyone know who has one in stock? Also i can use it for other midi applications right? Like with my gcx unit/other midi driven rigs...

Dude !! just adjust the filter tracking. maybe it's me who is crazy, but I can't stand a noize coming out from the speaker when I don't play. Tone is same here, I just dislike the sound of the gate going off after the notes when I play stacato (treshold has to be adjusted in a precise manner)

Keep in mind I use a herbert and high gain (death metal )

I use an ISP pro rack g with both my Diezels. I don't notice any tonal change when it's activated vs. when it's not used.
