It began life as the 7th Two Rock Emerald made. Around 2012 Bill Krinard got ahold of it and pretty much gutted it. He left a little of the Emerald, designed the rest as a similar to Custom Reverb Type circuit, and a portion of what he wanted and new ideas/original design. Dual reverbs, Non MV, external Bias, An insane amount of gain, as much as my Bogner XTC, footswitchable boost, tone bypass, channel, MIDboost. It is voiced so smooth that in the video below I have presence at 1 o’clock and my Treble at 3 o’clock, mids at 3 o’clock, bass at 11 o’clock.
It is so smooth and punchy, but playing live it somehow cuts through like a dream! Even at gain maxed out I can roll my volume down and get jangly, sparkly, Compressed Strong and infinite sustaining cleans. This amp will literally sustain controllable and endlessly at bedroom volume.
Literally the only one like it. Signed by Bill as well.
