New Dual-Channel RM20 Head from Randall... VERY cool!!!

Load that sucker up with a BMAN and SL2... even though you only get channel A from each, you can use the boost function built into the RM20. Killer!!!

Thanks for the link! That was a cool vid.

My only gripe is less talky, more playing, Ty!

Ty knows tone - that should say volumes about how smart we all are!!!

He says he uses the EG5 the most. I never would have guessed that. I wonder what he'd think of the GnR?

His tone especially on Dogman and such really fits the EG5 a lot man. I can totally get similar vibes to him w/ my EG5. I also can get those "semi-clean" tones he gets w/ my BMAN now too. I'd totally love to have my COD modded to get those "Gretchen tones." I wish Egnater would offer a mod to it to get those. I absolutely love that tone. I've considered buying a L5 just for fun to get those tones. But...i don't need it ;).

I think he'd totally dig the GNR. He's a mid-range guy...and I think it would be right up his alley honestly.

I almost egnated my pants again when I first read that, thinking it was an rm20 head that could switch between both A and B of the egnater modules. None the less, it's a great idea!

A boy can dream :poke:

I stood there and listened to him talk about his gear, tone, and all that stuff for over an hour that day. I was hoping he would play a little more, but I guess he was in more of a talking mood that day. What he did play, sounded great, but there definitely could have been more.

On of the things that he did talk about was how he ended up getting the tone he got out of the old L5's. He said that one day, the guitar cable he was using for a speaker cable, burned out one side of the amp, but it ended up making the amp sound exactly like what he had been looking for, so he had is tech "burn out" the same side on the rest of his amps. Interesting how happy accidents like that seem to make some of rock and rolls most sought after sounds. :)

I really like how he's got the egnater type knobs on the RT2\50. It looks really clean and tidy like a true unit. Obviously, not a big thing, but I like it.

Thanks for the vid.
