Uberschall Serial Number ID's

I have searched and scoured and have read a few different things.

I called Bogner and the service rep said it is "hazy" when trying to ID but he feels that the Rev. 2 starts at #150.

I am trying to confirm this and also confirm where Rev. 2 stops.

I found an Uberschall numbered in the high 100's but I only want the Rev. 2 if I buy one.

Another thing that gets me is that this amp has the rubber handle and I have read that the Rev. 2 only has a leather handle.


Can anyone 100% confirm the order of the different Uberschall Revisions?
 
No one knows brother. Bogner confirmed it to you. There may have been a few with the flat rubber handle but its probably a 1st Run Uberschall. Only difference is the gain taper maxes out earlier on the Originals...should still sound the same.

Just hold out for a leather handle Rev2 if you're not sure. Mine is #204 and sounds killer! :thumbsup:
 
Mine is a rev 2, leather handle, revision 2 board and all, but number 127. I have heard a million different theories about some leaving the factory with leftover parts, them trying different parts on different models. Ive heard anywhere from 110 to 170 even, so again... who knows.
 
I have a Green Rev2 Uberschall, "triangle-triangle-hor. stripe" #330, so still a Rev2. leather handle.
I heard they go in the 400's with Rev2, sort of like Mesa pre-500....

Rev2 is like having a Uberschall pre-500, getting sought-after and probably more pricey in the future, a good investment! :)

I used to have a Green 155 and it was the Rev original with gold symbols.
Now I have the very original serial number 068 and Rev2 169 and the 221.
The original sounds different from the Rev2. different voicing. Between the Rev2s they are very close but the 221 is the Magic one Gold Logo :). unique feel. Those amp shred faces for real.
