Sorry to ask such a naive question, but does anyone have the tube layout diagram for the Uberschall. There are tons of posts indicating what v1 - v10 do but I cant seem to find the old diagram that labelled which tube was which and its no longer on the Bogner website... Im looking to experiment around with some different preamp tube options in my Rev 2 based off of recommendations in past posts, and Im pretty sure which position is which but I want to make sure of the postions before I start messing around. Thanks for your help!

Pre amp tubes 1-6 were all 12AX7 tubes, ARS relabeled JJs from the factory.
Power amp tubes were EL34 tubes, ARS relabeled JJs from the factory.

I run this combination:
v1 Tung-sol 12AX7 re-issue
v2 Shuguang 12AX7 9th gen
v3 Shuguang 12AX7 9th gen
v4 JJ EC803S
v5 Shuguang 12AX7 9th gen - balanced
v6 Shuguang 12AX7 9th gen - balanced

The Tung-sol RI and JJ ECC803S really open up the clean channel.

I tried all kinds of combination of pre amp tubes. I found the Tung Sol RI and the JJ ECC803 really opened up the clean channel, gave it a richer tone. I even swapped them with each other, but nothing touched how they sounded in this order. The gain channel sounded best with the Chinese tubes to me. For the loop and phase inverter the Chinese tubes are fine. I just went with balanced, although not needed, because they didn't cost that much more. The stock ARS tubes are relabeled JJ EL34 tubes. I went with the JJ E34L tubes for the extended bottom end they offer, for a short time, but have since gone back to JJ EL34s. This set-up works great for me.

Good deal, thanks for the tips on your tube choices. I actually gave a call over to Bogner the other day and spoke with Charlie about how the pre-amp tubes were laid out, since the diagram isn't on the website anymore. I plan on doing some mixing and matching with pre-amp tubes at some point (and will definitely tryout your recommendations) but for right now I swapped out the JJ preamp tubes that my local tech installed when he re-tubed the whole amp, and put in 6 of the Chinese 9th 12AX7B's. The Shuguang's definitely made the amp sound better than the JJ pre's. I found the JJ pre's to have a "fizzy/buzzy" sound and the Shuguang's to sound a bit meatier and more aggressive.
