So my old guitar tech / instructor and friend of 30 year we have done many a good deal. He turned me on to the SD SH-5 Duncan Custom in 1996 the rest is history.
He scored this amp from Guitar Center in California and they shipped it no problem to the midwest. Tris has a long history w/ GC and it works for him well.
Had seen many of these in videos but didnt know much. This one has a UK made T-75 not stock im assuming but not missing anything.
The amp ripps small mammals into shards. On its own is thunderous.
Notoriously biased cold from Fender 6L6GC watt output per tube the rage is 15 to 21 watts.
This one was putting out 11 watts pertube as they don't want folks melting down ending up in service centers.
JJ 6L6 pair stable bias. Trimmer maxed @ 35 ma x 14 watts per tube.
I can live with that. Not messing w/a range resistor however at 410 vdc 70% dis is 51 ma.
Some good engineering with this product. Its mean & LOUD. Cab & chassis is well made & chassis slides out as opposed drops down from top.
