I was wondering if and when they'd port it over to Windows.

Looks like I might have an excuse to fire up boot camp. C’mon… they put those cute little VU meters in there. I can hear the warmth already…lol.
Joking aside I liked that mixer layout.

I need a new DAW for my new computer.

I use Samplitude currently on old computer.......

BUT

Would totally be cool with a free DAW as long as it is good.

Any thoughts on this one????

This doesn't look good:

I'm set with Ableton Live, on windows, but this looks interesting IMO

Luna has potential. Since I'm not a mixing engineer but a musician with a focus on MIDI, I can't use it right now, but as soon as the mentioned Cons are worked on, I'll have a look at it again.

I think you need a UA interface to make this DAW make sense.

:coffee:

I am seeing that many DAWs are going subscription.....they can ram that up their arses.

Reaper is looking like the only reasonable solution.

I use Luna on my Mac. I’ve had good experiences with it, as it integrates really well with my UAD hardware.

No idea about Windows though. A thing to keep in mind is that all the UAD hardware is only useable with Thunderbolt. That’s a no-go with most Windows machines. Not worth the time and effort and what I think is a truckload of trouble shooting.

If I was on Windows, I’d give it a pass and look into something like Cubase.
