I have been intrigued by these guitars ever since they were introduced in 23.
I had been searching for a used one. Got this shop demo from Cream City Music yesterday. It’s basically new.
The Theodore Standard.
Based on an old Ted McCarty design from the 50s.
Mahogany body
Mahogany neck
Rosewood fretboard
2 57 classic pickups
Nashville style hardware
Explorer neck
3 way toggle, master volume/master tone
Grover tuners
Trapezoid cellulose inlays
Great feeling guitar. Only 6.5 lbs. medium 60s style neck carve. The guitar delivers a great vintage tone….the bridge pickup is sparkling and not overly aggressive. The neck pickup has a creamy n fat sound.
Overall, a very nice Gibson. Great playability and great tone.
