Ok if you have a TC G system and GCX and more than 1 preamp you can get it to work fairly easy by following this:
set midi channel to 16 on G system? The GCX only accepts midi messages on this channel. Follow instructions below if you haven't done this yet.

Press edit
Press Menu
Turn 'Page' encoder until it says 'Midi'
Press enter
Turn encoder until it says 'Midi channel'
Press enter
Turn encoder until it shows channel 16
Press enter
Press edit to return to play mode

Have you assigned a g system switch to a midi cc number correctly? Check instructions below to make sure.

We'll just get loop 1 on the gcx working first ok?

Press edit
Press Menu (bank up)
Turn 'Page' encoder until you get to switches
Press enter
Press the g system switch you want to assign to gcx loop 1(lets use the top left switch for now 'FILTER')
Turn encoder 'A' until it says midi cc
(if it shows 00 once you've got midi cc displayed then turn encoder (can't remember which one but I think it's 'B') until midi cc number is #80.
If there is also an option to choose between toggle and hold then select toggle. If not, don't worry.
Then press edit to return to play mode

Press the g system switch you assigned to the gcx loop and watch the gcx to see if the loop1 light comes on. If so, press it again to see if the light goes off.

Repeat this using 80 for loop 1- 81 loop 2 -82 loop 3 ect. My set up goes like this: TC G sytem(fulltone fatboost,Maxon od808,Tube Driver), loop 1 M4 (T/D COD Erect EG3/4) loop 2 M4 (VX Bman SL SL2 EG5 XTC) RT2/50 :D The GCX is put in the "Insert loop" and switches 1st M4 and 2nd M4 back and forth. the only down fall is the TC can only turn on 1 loop at a time so you cant do a combination of loops like 1-3-6-8 with effects.
