Using the Step down converter

i just received my brand new diezel vh4 yesterday.bought this in USA.
but i need a step down converter first.my country is in 240V.

would a 1500watts/va converter big enough for the vh4?

Yes. Even 500 Watts would be enough for a 100 Watter.

Olaf, peter once told me that moding a diezel and for example converting it from a 220v to a 110v head was pretty easy.

I'm in the opposite situation as the fellow above. I'm taking a Diezel with me from Europe to America next year. Would you recommend modding it or a converter would work just fine?

Im taking this to a tech for the rewiring.

It depends on the power transfomer. Newer amps can be wired easily between the voltages. To be sure, just send Peter a detailed pic of the power transfomers primaries.
