V30s and Greenbacks are like playing with an OD pedal when you switch to Classic Lead 80s

If you want a celestion that also has hifi clarity, dont sleep on CL80s. They make the regular offerings from celestion sound like a big EQ filter thats unnecessary. Their origina go back to the late 70s when Fane Altec and EV were the kings. Celestions take on an overbuilt hifi guitar speaker.

I don´t think I ever tried the CL80/Classic Lead 80 in real life, but it is one of the IR models in my Blubox and I think it´s pretty cool judging from that. I mostly go for greenbacks these days but I like that IR with my Mark III+, more so than with the typical Marshall-ish stuff.
