Same procedure as every year - I'm out of order for the next three weeks.

Again brittany (or if the weather shouldn't be too good, more south the border until we'll find at least 25°C and cute beaches).

Some impressions:
Coming from the north @ LeHavre I have to cross the Pont de Normandie to get over the Seine to my wife's family . . .

. . . they are living close to Honfleur, a beatiful small harbor town . . .

. . after another wedding in the family we'll drive to the north of brittany first . . .

. . of course it is not like a beach holiday in spain, but more like . .

. . . wife and daughter want to do some sailing at the Cote de granit rose, impressive coast . .

. . . I myself prefer it more south at the peninsula of Quiberon, which has one of the most beautiful beaches of brittany

going thru La Vendee we could have a stop at Guillaume le Conquérant's castle (in english one would call him William the Conqueror or so - but he was french)

. . . and as I've said - if the weather shouldn't be too well up there, we'll be heading down south to Royan, where the beaches are wider and look like this:

I am on vacation by watching the Tour de France when I get home from work everyday, but to actually be there!
