That's awesome. BUT, it still pisses me off that Anthony won't be on bass. The son thing is just too weird. Ahhh, maybe I'll get over it. I just know he damn well better be as good as Ed is pitching him off to be! I think it'll be kind of cool to see Roth and Eddie together again. I think the whole deal with Michael though is that it looks like he is already committed to a tour with Hagar. Who knows what could have happened with Van Halen if that wasn't the case?

this tour is not about anything other than DLR and the classic VH tunes..if EVH can fumble his way through his back catalogue he can fade in the background...
the only reason I would go to see this tour is to see DLR play and command a full arena crowd...
It's gonna be funny to see VH become his backup band once again
it's gonna Drive Ed and Al insane when Dave gets all the press.... that's why it went to crap in 1996

I won't see them. NO MA no Badger71. This will be nothing more than brand marketing....Ed pushin the EVH brand. DLR will get alot of press but I'm betting he'll just be a hired gun...much like how Ace and Peter were during the big KISS makeup tours. The Van Halens will get the majority of the merch sales, ticket points, and push the EVH hype.

My cousin is a professional driver, and he gave Alex some driving lessons, I got some really cool pictures with him and eddie, really cool stuff, anyway alex told him that they cleaned up and they are going to give it one more shot, I see this tour as being something great, or a big disaster, and thats the way Alex said he sees it, Ill probobly go, if the tickets are not $2038420834

I can see this whole thing blowing up after the 3rd show when Dave says something obnoxious about Wolfgang. I'd also like to hear some new music. This is just a re-hashed attempt at an Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" fan-rape.

Even if MA was playing with them I probably wouldn't go. I'm easily annoyed at concerts from bands back in the 80's because many of the people that go forgot to slow down on the partying, are wearing the same stinky cut off sleeved concert shirts and get sloppy drunk and beligerent. The old VH crowd would probably be all that x10.
Even the fanny pack cannot defend against smelly, drunk mama stuffed into her 80's mini skirt.
