i've been having a issue were i will be playing my diezel herbert threw my torpedo into a jam hub and sometimes my output will peak and gain reduction will kick in and bring my output volume to -64 from -3 i have the input set at -38 and the master on my amp is at 9 o'clock and the imput gain mode is set on global

Dear SpicedMuffin,

I think you are pushing too hard the input of the VB-101, causing some distortion in the input stage. You may have the input between 0 and -30dB (by lowering a little the output volume of the Herbert witch is quite powerfull...), please let me know if it solves your issue.

hi Guillaume was able to rock out last night and turning the master volume down a little on my herbert seems to work. did not get the output gain reduction

Great news !. Feel free to post a few samples/videos, the Herbert is a beast, love it !

i actually have a bunch of recorded tracks for my band Paranoid Faction all guitars were tracked with the herbert and torpedo and the bass was recorded with mesa m9 and the torpedo. check out the link below

for the rhythm tracks i'm using the herbert plus cali-o std 4x12 except my solos i use a wah. so to answer your question the herbert and the torpedo by them selves
