Velcro on Pedal Board- Hook or loop?

Which velcro should I put on my pedal board, the hook part or the loop part? I heard people recommending putting the hook side on the pedalboard so you can put the loop side on the pedals (the loop doesn't stick on onto other surfaces)... Should I go that way?

Loop on the board dude. Thats what i do. Im sure it really doesnt matter though...

Almost all pedalboards have the loop side on the board.

For the reason you mentioned it'd be way smarter to have the hook side on the board if you have the option.

Never heard the 2 sides of velcro referred to as hook and loop. I assume the hook part is the carpet side. I have that on my pedal boards....

I put the fuzzy part on the board and the hook part on the pedals.
Doesn't matter which really.

I put the fuzzy part on the pedals so the other part wouldn't scratch wood floors when I took the pedals off the pedalboard. How's that for rationalizing a random decision???
