Vendetta Output Tube Question

howdy there!
Great forum, love it. Just acquired a Rocktron Vendetta from TGP and it's an amazing amp.
Now I know there are only like 100 of those bad boys out there (mine's apparently a prototype), but I still wanted to throw out there if anybody experimented with output tubes other than E34s. Don't have any tranny specs sadly, so I was wondering.

especially 6v6s or KT66s would be awesome.... but I don't wanna try until I get some feedback.

I ran 6L6's and later a mixed quad of EL34's/6L6's in my Vendetta for a while, though honestly, can't remember it making much of a difference. I'm getting old, though, so my sonic memory is fading. Heck, I can't even remember what tubes were in my Vendetta when I took it into the studio.

Guess I was completely helpless here, eh? Cool amp, though.

Hmmm.... looks like on here 6550s are getting all the hype now....
might have to try those as well.
The EL34s are great to me so far,
except the clean sound.

best workhorse powertube for me. reliable as all get out, and tons of tone to boot.
