I haven't watched it, but apparently it's exageratedly complicated
 
I'm surprised he isn't using bees in a box as his amp..nothing else could replicate that tone!
 
That is crazy. I could never gig with that set up and, honestly, I didn't hear a great tone in that whole vid.

Because there really isn't . It all seems really pointless, most people want simple set ups so they can interact with the audience and play,
but to each their own
 
Looks like a self indulgent pile of computerized shit on a table. Wimbish's pedalboard is also a joke. Fuck these guys. Dug early Living Colour when Vernon used Mesa Quad Preamps, and the had Muzz Skillings on bass, who was awesome, with NO pedals.

I liked his rhythm playing a lot, but never got his lead style. This rig seems ridiculous to me. If he got rid of everything other than the Boogies he'd have a much better tone imo, and I'm not a Boogie guy!
 
They are awesome live, and I love both of them as players. That said, Vernon's tone does suck massive balls. Doug rules though.
 
Wow. Whatever someone wants to use is cool.

I did just listen to a current live vid on utube and there was a lot of noise coming off his rig. To be expected I suppose.

Glad my rig is simple.

The only reason I made it through any of that was because of Rebecca. What a cluster! In a day of "all in one box", he uses that disaster piece - by choice. huh.
 
Sounds like the perfect rig for his turkey fight "solos".
