Was just saying that they cannot afford to do so, but keep doing it. There must be an end game like funneling everything down to a few for ease of data collection and ad revenue, but their expenses exceed their income so was joking they're probably funded by Canadian Intelligence.

Oh. I’m Australian, so a bit out of the loop. I just saw Canadian and know they have a fondness for euthanisation apparently.

I read through their initial thread and they did say something off cuff that caught me by surprise saying they would be implementing their privacy policies “which were close to what they do now anyway” in a very hand wavy manner. I bet you anything they plan to sell everyone’s data and inject as much ad info as possible. Since people pay to play over there the data they would have access to is scary.

And this is why you don’t go paying for services on websites you know nothing about and cannot contact to opt out or remove said data. It’s why I never bought into their membership scheme. You don’t even get a refund if you’re banned. The whole site is shady as fuck. I actually will likely delete my account.

I didn't read into it but if they buy forums, then do they not buy all the infrastructure too? Capex and Opex? Power and Space is not going to get any cheaper, it is going to go thru the roof. So yeah - what is the endgame?
