I am still stumped with speakers/cab for the 101b. Just can't seem to find the one's that make me say, "sheeeeeeeeit". Several Celestion and Scumback combinations in my Mills, Naked, Mesa cabs and I am just not getting movement . Maybe I need a Bogner cab

My opinion, You don't need a Bogner cab at all... I have a Bogner cab, and while its great is not something special at all. The Mills cabs are incredible by the way!

I went with eminence patriot red, white, and blues with my XTC and couldn't be happier. I've got a Bogner 4x12 with gt75's and v30's in an x pattern and its ok, but the eminence fit better with the XTC to my ears.

After some mucking around with various options, the XTC suits me best with a V30 cab. My Mills all have other stuff in them. But I still have a Mesa with V30's that works great with the XTC. It is sort of my experiment cab though that I test speakers out with. I have a second Mesa that is empty and I can't remember why it has no speakers and where the hell the 4 V30's got off to!

I have the Bogner 4x12 with V30s I read somewhere he designed it with V30s, who knows.

I'm using my 101B w/the traditional slant Mesa 4x12 V30 cab and it sounds fantastic to my ears, better match than almost anything else thru that cab. I also have a Bogner 4x12 and it sounds great thru that too, yet different. Honestly with the band I like a Mesa it seems a tad more compressed or something yet it cuts and I can hear it when I'm very close to it, the Bogner cab sounds a bit muted up close since it's a straight cab, better sounding when further away from it.

I've heard this as well, but just never liked the V30 that much. Currently running a Bogner 4x12 w/ Greenbacks and a Bogner OS2x12 with Scumback M75's. Both work really well with the 101B. At least for my needs.

I just swapped out an M75 with an H75 in my Port City OS 2x12 -- this is for my Uber...great move; can't imagine going back to straight M75s.
