Hope you all are well :)

Trying to bias my VH4 (0000104) using the Weber Bias Rite. New to this whole process. Got it out of the shell. Following the guidelines on the site with only one problem -- can't find the bias trimmer. Despite the photo provided, I just can't find it. Sorry if this is a retarded question. Can anyone tell me exactly what I should be looking for and where? In detail please. Thanks so much.

You know, based on all the threads I'm reading (and I've read many) it seems that no one has problems locating this thing. Which makes me wonder if my head is just old and configured differently. In any event, I'd love some help. Thanks in advance.

What's the serial number? If it is very old (90s) it may not have a bias pot. Its easy to install one though . . . a pic would help too. Amp flipped, pots facing you - left side of the main board close to the midi board.

Serial number 0000104 -- sorry about the big pics. I'll resize and repost.

edited against blueprinters :D

Thanks in advance. Let me know what else I can do to help you guys help me :)

There's none.

On the left upper side of the main board there's a fuse. Underneath you can see a resistor and a diode.
Cut out the resistor, leave some of its wire and solder two wires to a 5k pot - voilà - thats your bias pot.

Thank you so much for quickly diagnosing the problem and providing a solution. Thanks to your help I'm sure this will be worked out shortly.

Jeez, that is an early one. What year model would that be?
