VH4 channel two : no sound

Hello Diezel users,

Today , I've got a big problem with my VH4.
Le channel 2 became silent, no sound at all.
The 3 other channels are ok.No devices in the loop..

Is-it possible that one tube can mute only the second channel ?

Layman's preamp tube checking. Take 1 new tube and try it in each socket and see if it solves the problem. I'd try v3 then v1 before the others. Only takes a few minutes to try out.

bingo !!!I've replaced V3 and the channel two lives again...

the faulty tube is a "TAD 12ax7a-c".What brand and model are equivalent to this one ?actually,I 've put an old stock 7025 philips for the test.
