Any help here is appreciated.

I just started using a bunch of pedals with my VH4.

Whenever I have any pedals powered by AC adapters in front of the amp, I get a big hum. I can power them with batteries and I do not have problems. When I put the same pedals in the loop, the hum disappears.

Everything is plugged into a Furman power conditioner.

Thanks again for any help.

Makes you want to pile them effects up in a closet doesn't it? Definitely a ground loop problem. You need to get yourself a Voodoo Labs AC power supply. You can supply 6 or 8 DC pedals with this and everything is isolated. If you are plugging a bunch of wall worts into your Furman, along with the amp, you will get excessive ground loops, always. You can also try plugging all your pedals into a power strip and plugging this into a different power source, other than the Furman and a different wall outlet from where the Furman and the amp is plugged into.

Well, actually, all of these pedals are plugged into the power supply that came with my Pedal Pad. Have you had any experience with these power supplies? I'll have to check out the Voodoo Labs one.

Pedalpad...that's the one with the 9V power supplies built onto the pedalboard? Probably not the highest of tech.

Did you try removing individual pedals to see which one the cultprit is? Some just make noise for the hell of it. Also, you could try plugging the pedal pad into a different wall socket. And, always suspect are bad patch cables.

Guarantee you though, grab a Voodoo Labs power supply and you will be glad you did. All the inputs are transformer isolated and there is no way to form a ground loop, although one can come from other sources in the system, it won't be from pedal to amp.
